A natural problem-solver, Jennifer is committed to delivering strategic solutions tailored to her clients’ unique objectives and needs. Jennifer practices in all areas of employment and labour law, as well as workplace investigations.  She is a passionate advocate and advisor for her employer and employee clients and takes a proactive approach to resolving workplace matters.

Prior to joining Goulart Workplace Lawyers, Jennifer was an associate at a boutique litigation firm in Toronto. She completed her articles with a prominent full-service firm, where she gained extensive experience in litigation and advocacy.

Jennifer is a graduate of the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Common Law. During law school, Jennifer volunteered with the Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF) and the Women’s Legal Mentorship Program. She also served as a Junior Editor for the Canadian Journal of Women and the Law, which is the preeminent feminist law journal in Canada.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Brock University’s Goodman School of Business, where she focused her studies in human resources management. She received the University’s Co-op Student of the Year Award for her work developing an accessibility compliance plan and training program for her colleagues at a large provincial ministry. For her commitments to leadership and community service at the University, Jennifer was awarded the prestigious Spirit of Brock Award at convocation.

Always ready for a challenge, Jennifer recently took up bouldering and spends her spare time working on her projects at the gym. She is also a self-taught cook and enjoys sharing her creations with friends, family, and the GWL team.
